Been into gaming all my life. Started off with a second hand Atari late 80s. Now I have a decent collection of Steam Titles:

American Truck Simulator (using beam eye tracker) and almost all of the DLC maps.

Out of Ore [beta] - fun physics, realistic machines (need both sticks for the Exca and dozers)

Star Citizen (dual HOTAS, 4K60 on high) Still a hot mess on their side so don't play as much anymore

Construction Simulator

Space Engineers 1 & 2

Sandustry (early access)

Factorio (the original)

Flight simulator

Sailaway III

Snowrunner

Other:

Vintage Story

Every Grand Turismo

Built for Unraid and VM's:

2015 Asrock Extreme4 X99, Xeon E5-2687W v3 @ 3.1GHz, 64GB ECC DDR4 in quad channel

Gigabyte Radeon RX 7900XTX 24GB

4K60 Samsung TV HDMI 1.2 via DP

Legion 5 Laptop, AMD5300, 32GB RAM, 1TB M.2 Nvidia 3050ti GPU

Construction sim is ok, but pretty arcade feeling in that the physics are super basic. Out of Ore has similar dirt physics to Construction simulator IMO, but you can dig to the bottom of the world and has poor economy balance and not much content/if any as of RN. I do like how the machinery handles, ie the Dozer, exca, and loader. Construction simulator seems to have decent balance of economy vs grind to let the player feel like they are accomplishing their goals without a ton of grinding, but without being too easy.

SC is vast and ambitious, not without it's rage-quitting bugs and cheaters tho. I put my sticks down back in March 26 because a freight elevator lost/ate a weeks worth of mining and scavenging. To some it's a setback worth accepting. I just didn't have the time. I work on my own cars and projects when it's not winter. I have a few 3D printers (one Mars a 6" bed-slinger, and a 15 in cube XY FDM), a few metal working machines in the garage (the 2800lb Manual milling machine i converted myself to Linux CNC with a 17" touch screen). Also have a back yard with 14 cars/trucks and a Cessna Cardinal. All this takes the majority of my time. When I get the chance to game, there are a few I find myself coming back to.
