In your latest video, you mentioned trying to strike a balance between realism that's very complex and fun easy game play.

I feel it's 2 different audiences. You're not going to make anyone happy if you try to do both. Tie it into a difficulty selection. Some people will want ultra realistic, others will want to skip stuff like transporting equipment.

On the ultra realistic side you could even have it so the player has to transport the building materials to the site.

I hear ya! Right now building materials can just be placed by the menu. I had an idea to have a construction yard where you have to go buy them, pick them up and load onto a trailer and then transport them. The main issue with this is the "Pay Wall" required to get the items. It make sit so if you want block you need a truck, trailer, a way to load/unload amd then place them with precision. TBH I think it could be a really fun play loop and I want to do it but I think at launch we will stick to the menu and will continue to work on the more realistic approach to moving them manually
