Hi, my Logitech controller is detected by windows and works, but the game is not detecting it at all.

Follow-up: found the cause.

Windows is seeing the Logitech fine. The catch is it also sees my Azeron keypad as an Xbox controller, and Dirt Digger always grabs the first one. That was the Azeron, so the Logitech barely worked — a few buttons, no sticks.

I got around it without unplugging the keypad, by making the game use the Logitech as player 1. Sticks and buttons are fine now.

If anyone else hits this, have a look in Windows Game Controllers. If two Xbox-style devices are listed, the game is probably bound to the wrong one.

A controller selector in settings would be a big help — just a way to pick which pad the game uses when more than one is plugged in. Handy for keypads, wheels, or a second controller.
