My dad flew this airplane for fifty years. Now it's mine... and I'm not sure I'm ready for that.
This is Bob. He grew up in Nakvik, a little harbor town right under the approach to the airport, waiting on the roof for one yellow airplane to come home. His dad taught him to fly in the back seat of that Super Cub. At eighteen, Bob left for the city, and he stayed gone for forty years.
This spring his dad passed away. The airplane was still in the hangar, covered and fueled, with his father's logbook on the seat. Fifty years of flights in pencil. A mountain he never flew over. And on the last page, a drawing of a log lodge by a lake, with one word under it: "Someday."
Bob is the main character of the bush-flying game I'm building. This isn't a devlog. It's his story, told by Bob, and flown entirely in the game. His story continues in the devlogs, alongside everything we build.
The game's name and beta release date on Steam are still in the works. You'll hear it here first.
Where should Bob fly first? Tell me in the comments.
